White Pinot: We don't often hear this term used much today. Thirty years ago in California it was a common name given to any unidentified white wine grape of uncertain parentage.

A widely grown white-wine producing variety, known as Steen in South Africa, Pineau de la Loire in the Loire region of France and under the alias name White Pinot (Pinot Blanco) elsewhere in the world.
The vines are referred to by various names, including white Pinot Noir, Pinot Gouges or even Pinot Musigny.

[yellow tail] Reserve Pinot Grigio This is a very light colored white Pinot Grigio. There is only a limited amount of these Reserve wines made. This wine is at its prime before 12 months after production.
While Pinot Blanc resembles Chardonnay, experts have determined that these two grape varieties are unrelated. The white Pinot Blanc grape is considered a genetic mutation or clone of the red Pinot Noir.
