Bakasana

Bakasana (Sanskrit: बŕ¤-सन) or Crane Pose[1] is a asana. Bakasana has been translated into English as Crow Pose[2] and often used interchangeably with Kakasana depending on the lineage of the yoga being practiced.[3]

Bakasana

Balance is never achieved by holding it. If you try to hold your balance you will lose it. Instead reach out for it and receive it. Allow your body to become an open conduit for energy to pass through.

In the second stage of this pose with your head on the floor, your back should not be straight, but should be rounded or dome-shaped as in Bakasana.
