Bhrumadhya drishti

Yoga BhrumadhyaBhuja

Shambhavi mudra (bhrumadhya drishti) is gazing at the eyebrow centre. Then there is akashi mudra, consciousness of inner space, and unmani mudra, the meditative attitude.

In the same manner, Laya can be effected by concentration at the tip of the nose (Nasikagra Drishti), at the space between the two eyebrows (Bhrumadhya Drishti), meditation on the five Tattvas, on Soham Mantra, Aham Brahma Asmi, ...

Press the chin against the chest firmly (Jalandhara Bandha). Fix the gaze between the eyebrows (Bhrumadhya Drishti). Retain the posture as long as you can and then exhale slowly. Practise first on the left leg and then on the right leg.
