Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a new form of yoga comprising of a series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (pranayamas). It is suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

 


Bikram Yoga is a system of yoga that Bikram Choudhury synthesized from traditional yoga techniques and popularized beginning in the early 1970s.

Bikram Yoga: A rigorous form of Yoga performed in a room heated to at least 95 degrees. Each posture in the sequence is designed to safely stretch and open the body, in preparation for the next posture.

Bikram Yoga is associated with Bikram Choudhury, the founder of the worldwide Yoga College of India. Bikram Choudhury was born in Kolkata in the year 1946.

Bikram Yoga
This form is also known as "hot yoga" because it is done in a very warm room. Bikram yoga is excellent for increasing flexibility because the heat helps tissues to stretch.

Bikram

This style of Yoga done in a hot room that is 38 C or higher. Because to replicate the temperature environment of Yoga's birthplace in INDIA.
