Brahman (nominative brahma ब्रह्म) is the concept of the supreme spirit found in Hinduism.

Brahman is the Absolute, and one cannot meditate on Brahman, because it is inclusive of even the meditator himself.

Brahman: God the Absolute, beyond attributes or form. The name is derived from the root brih meaning "to grow" or "to expand".
brahmananda: Sanskrit word meaning divine bliss; the perennial joy of God.

Brahman - Godhead. The Absolute, the Supreme Reality, the Ultimate Reality, Truth or the Self of the Vedanta Philosophy are also used interchangeably for Brahman; See Sat-Chit-Ananda.

Brahman - The absolute. Divinity itself, God as creator.

Brahman is both consciousness and power (shakti). This sakti operates in many ways, including the power or creation. One such power is the veiling power which veils the spiritual truth of the oneness of consciousness.

Guru is Brahman Himself. Guru is Ishvara Himself. Guru is God. A word from him is a word from God. He need not teach any. Even his mere presence or company is elevating, inspiring and soul-stirring. The very company itself is self-illumination.

In fact, Brahmani, Vaishnavi and Rudrani are the consorts of the three Hindu gods Brahma , Vishnu and Shiva (also named Rudra).

In Indian philosophy of the Upanish ads, Ananda was an important attribute of the supreme being, Brahman. "Bliss" was used to define Brahman and was also considered to be the highest state of the individual self.

You will find in Vedanta Sutras: "For the same reason, breath is Brahman." Prana is the sum total of all energy that is manifest in the universe. It is the sum total of all the forces in nature.

BHUMA: The Unconditioned, the Great Infinite, Brahman.

The first and most important is the realization that the ultimate, formless, and inconceivable Brahman (Godhead) is the same as Atman, as our internal soul.

The head is also said to be the seat of Brahman, the soul. A theory that gains credibility when we look at how the brain functions in regards to sensation; it processes all our experiences but does not actually feel them.

Vedic literature is replete with references to prayerful contemplation'; (Brahman), higher vision; (dhi), and; the ideal harmony; (rita). Vedic people relied on rishis (dedicated Vedic Yogis) to teach them how to live in divine harmony.

Although sorely vexed, he was greatly impressed with the power inherent in Brahmanism.

Simply because a man is born into a Brahman family doesn't, in itself, give the quality of a Brahman. I need not be studious, simply because I have become someone's student. Simply because I hold house doesn't mean I live a householder's life.

According to Yoga Vasistha, Brahman, the Absolute, manifests itself in the world. Everything originates out of, exists in and finally merges into Brahman.

By forging a powerful depth of concentration and mastery of the body and mind, Hatha Yoga practices seek to still the mental waters and allow for apprehension of oneself as that which one always was, Brahman.

This desire is present in the one who is without attributes, the nameless and formless aspect of the divine (Brahman). Tantra Yoga accepts desire as the prime motivating force of the universe, so it does not ask its' aspirants to renounce desire.

Om has no meaning, it is just the pure sound of the consciousness we call Brahman or God. Lord Ganesha is the Lord of obstacles and is always invoked first before starting any spiritual or material (such as using your computer) undertaking.

The correct purport of this is to abide in the Brahman or the Absolute. It is loosely interpreted as abstinence from sexual commerce. When one abides in the Absolute all mundane desires vanish.

four ancient texts- Rig, Yajur, Sama, Atharva, which are further divided into Samhita, Brahmana, Aranayaka and Upanishads.

It forms part of the Krishna Yajurveda. It deals with an exposition of Hatha and Lambika Yogas. It concludes with an account of the non-qualified Brahman. The Non-dual Brahman is the quest of all seekers.

Their central statement is that the Self of a human being is the same as Brahman, the Absolute or Supreme Consciousness. The goal of life, according to the Upanishads, is realization of this Identify.

other faiths are convinced that God has one divine/human form " and one form only. And then large numbers of Hindus worship numerous gods with divine and human attributes " who comprise different aspects of the one infinite source of all: Brahman.

This looks to be small matter but it is very important. Shruti and saints ordain "Prabhate karadarshanam." They tell to start working from the morning, use your hands, do not be lazy Because "Pranuzdo nitya nrityuh Bhagawan brahmanasutah.
