Yoga Chairs is getting more and more popular, especially for the elderly. It is also beneficial to pregnant women and those recovering from surgery.

I teach Chair Pose to help students open their hips, but I ask them to 'sit back' in the imaginary chair far enough that their knees don't extend past their toes, as in the photo above.

Put your hands on a chair or wall in front of you if you need help with balancing. Rest and then repeat to the other side. Benefits: Increases balance; strengthens the standing leg; provides emotional strength.
