The battle continues, with Drona as commander. This is the major book of the war. Most of the great warriors on both sides are dead by the end of this book.
Kill Drona, Bheeshma, Jayadratha, Karna, and other great warriors who are already killed by Me. Do not fear. You will certainly conquer the enemies in the battle, therefore, fight! (11.34) ...
A very interesting incident is recorded in the Drona-Parva of the Mahabharata, which shall simply strike you with wonder, and actually make you sob for the Iove that God has for man.
Bharadvaja was the father of Drona, the military preceptor of the Kauravas and Pandavas, who fought the great war described in the Mahabharata. This asana is dedicated to Bharadvaja.
We can recall the beautiful episode from Mahabharata to illustrate an example of Dharana in which Dronacharya, the master archer keeps a fake bird on a tree asking his disciples to shoot the eye of the bird.
