Kripalu Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga using inner focus, meditation, standard yoga poses, breathwork, "development of a quiet mind", and relaxation.

 


Kripalu Yoga, inspired by Kripalvananda and developed by his disciple Yogi Amrit Desai, is a three-stage Yoga tailored for the needs of Western students.

Kripalu Yoga puts a great emphasis on the mechanics of Yoga - proper breath and alignment - as well as in the inner, spiritual dimensions of Yogic practice.

Kripalu Yoga, described as 'meditation in motion', is a style of Hatha Yoga founded by Yogi Amrit Desai ("Gurudev") based on the teachings of his Guru, Swami Kripalvananda ("Swami Kripalu", "Bapuji").

I cannot locate a translation for Chakravakasana, but 'round here, and on some Kripalu resources it seems to be used interchangeably for a Balasana vinyasa and a name for Tiger Pose.
