Whoever comes into this world has three cheats sitting within: kama (desire), krodha (anger) and lobha (greed). These three flaws are the smugglers hiding in one's mind. Everyone who is born in this physical body has desire, anger and greed.
Matsarata is the combination of the obstacles: kama , krodha , lobha and mada . By indulging in these passions we become jealous ( matsar ). Sadhus are free from jealousy.

The chief of these enemies are: Kama (passion or lust), krodha (anger or wrath), lobha (greed), moha (delusion), mada (pride) and matsara (jealousy or envy).
LAGHIMA: The Siddhi by which the Yogi can become lighter. Lakshana: Sign. Laya: Dissolution. Linga Sarira: Astral body. Linga: Mark. Lobha: Greed. Loka Sangraha: Uplift of humanity.
While not easy, practicing Asteya encourages generosity and overcomes Lobha (greed). And as Patanjali tells us, “when Asteya is firmly established in a yogi, all jewels will become present to him/her.' (YS 2.37).
