Maha Ati is a term coined by Trungpa Rinpoche[citation needed], a master of the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.

Maha Vedha
Sit in Maha Bandha posture. Draw the breath slowly. Retain the breath. Press the chin against the chest. Place the palms on the ground. Rest the body on the palms. Raise the buttocks slowly and strike them gently against the ground.

Maha Mudra, Maha Bandha and Maha Vedha form one group. They are something like three stages of one exercise. Similarly Mula Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha and Jalandhara Bandha form another group.

Maha-raas with the Gopies in the pastoral Brindaban is a lesson against possessiveness and discovering the meaning of true love. Krishna belongs to everyone and there is no scope for possessiveness which leads to pain and disillusionment.

Maha Sankirtan Yajna is the greatest Yajna in this Kali Yuga. Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj was a votary of Sankirtan. He was called 'Sankirtan Samrat' - Emperor of Sankirtan.

Thou art Kali, Durga, Adisakti, Rajarajeswari, Tripurasundari, Maha-Lakshmi, Maha-Sarasvati! Thou hast put on all these names and forms. Thou hast manifested as Prana, electricity, force, magnetism, cohesion, gravitation in this universe.

Normally Yaugic treatment centres specify Maha mudra, Viprita-paschimottanasana, Ardha-matsyendrasana, Akarna­dhanurasana, Mayoorasana and Kakasana (Bakasana or Padmabakasana) for the purposes of relief in diabetes.
