Traditionally there are 64 texts of the Shakta sect ranging from the "Mahamaya Shambar" to the "Devimata Tantra".
This Tantric pranava sound is also the bija mantra for mahamaya. As the belief states, in order to obtain release from incarnation you must find release from maya.
This power of God, Maya or Shakti, is personified and is called Shree or Lakshmi, Maya, Vishnumaya, or Mahamaya, and She is said to manifest Herself in, 1) kriyāshakti, (Creative Activity) and 2) bhtishakti (Creation) of Universe.
