Mountain Posture A deceptive pose in that it appears so simple but it has a good strengthening effect upon the lungs and chest. Tada Asana is mainly a kriya of the hands and the arms.
Start in the mountain posture (Tadasana). Feel rooted in your left foot spreading your toes and keeping your weight equally distributed throughout the foot as you bend the right knee conveying all weight onto your left foot.
Parvatasana (Mountain posture) On the exhalation bring the right leg back to join with the left leg. Simultaneously raise the buttocks and lower the head between the arms, so that the body forms a triangle with the floor.
