Parigraha is the increasing orientation toward material things. If we reduce parigraha and develop aparigraha, we are orienting ourselves more inwardly.
parigraha egoistic possession, making things one's own. parinama evolutionary change (out of the original substance or energy), a varying, developing, mounting movement of organised energy and its evolutionary consequences.
