Shiva is father (pita) of all that moves and is motionless; he is said to be naked, clothed in open space, or digambara, (clothed in the universe).

Namutra hi sahayartham pita mata ca tisthatah. Na putradarah na jnatih dharmas tisthati kevalah. Your parents will not come to you. Your relations will desert you. What will come with you? You will come with yourself.

Shred enough carrot and beet to generously fill a pita. Spread raw chickpea hummus into a pita pocket. Add avocado dressing (or plain sliced avocado). Stuff the pita with alfalfa sprouts, shredded beet and carrot, and a handful of mixed greens. Enjoy! ...
