Pitta: The dosha governing all digestion, metabolism, and transformation in the body.
Pradakshina: The act of worshipful walking around a holy temple, shrine or place. Always done clockwise.

Pitta Qualities:
It has hot, sharp, light, liquid, sour, oily and spreading qualities. Because of the hot quality, the pitta person has a strong appetite and warm skin. The body temperature is a little higher than the vata person.

Pitta is hot, sharp, a little bit of expansive property, with particular smell or strong smell. Even if these are demonstrated through organs, other characteristics are as per functions. Pitta is five palmfuls. This also is a liquid substance.

I would add that one should especially pay attention to an anti-pitta regimen (to lessen heat and inflammation) is recommended for your regular routine - eliminate all night shades (potato, tomato, eggplant, bell pepper, and tobacco) and spicy foods.

The extreme heat of Bikram can be quite nice for the muscles, but, yes, it will aggravate a Pitta imbalance.
