This is transmitted through the intermediary of the pranamaya kosha (or energy body) causing disturbances in the prana.

Lit: 'wheel'; the psycho-energetic centers of the subtle body known as the Pranamayakosha; in yoga there are considered to be twelve major chakras, six higher, and six lower. However, the six higher chakras are typically group as one.

Practice Sun Salutations with Anjaneyasana (Crescent Moon Pose), stepping back into Plank and then Asthanga Pranam (Eight-Pointed Bow or Knees-Chest-Chin) and moving up into Bhujangasana (Cobra).

Once we have connected with this kosha we can use the breath as a bridge into the Pranamaya kosha, connecting with the energy manifesting in the body.

Naama Sankirtanam yasya sarva papa pranaasanam; Pranamo duhkhasamanastam namaami Harim Param. Thus concludes the Srimad Bhagavata Maha-Purana. The great glory of God is in His magnificent Name.

Pranamaya Kosha, Manomaya Kosha and Vijnanamaya Kosha are in the astral body (Sukshma Sarira). Anandamaya Kosha belongs to the causal body (Karana Sarira). Pranamaya Kosha contains the five Karma Indriyas.

The arms extended and knees together has this asana also known as Pranamasana, or Bowing Pose, and Adho Mukha Virasana, Downward Facing Hero's Pose.
