Rasa : 1.psycho-energy state. 2. Flavor, taste. 3. A subtle energy of richness, sweetness, and delight.
Recaka ("expulsion"): exhalation, an aspect of breath control (pranayama) .


RASA - taste, pleasure, nectar
- AMRAS - "fruit juice", enjoyment of food, (A= mango)
- CHAMRAS - the pleasure of sensual enjoyment (CHAM = skin)
- RAMRAS - the divine nectar, enjoying the divine (RAM = The Lord Ram) ...

Rasa: One of the seven bodily constituents, mainly the plasma (clear part of the blood).
Rasa Vaha Srotas: Those channels or blood vessels that carry the plasma throughout the body; includes the coronary arteries in the heart.

One of my favorite herbs for rejuvenation is Shatavari, as it continues to cleanse vata from the rasa/rakta dhatu's, and rejuvenates the rasa/rakta dhatu as well, Also, Shatavari is excellent for dual doshas such as vata/pitta.

The ultimate goal in the practice of Bhakti yoga is to reach the state of rasa (essence), a feeling of pure bliss achieved in the devotional surrender to the Divine.

It is named after the holy city of Vrindavan in India, home of Lord Krishna. Often, on nights of the full moon, you can "see" Krishna and the Gopis dancing the Rasa Lila.
