Rupa = beauty; Lavanya = fine complexion; Bala = strength; Vajra-samhananatvani = very hard - like diamond; kaya = body; Sampat = treasure, perfection.

 


RUPA-LOKA (Fine-Material World ) The fine material sphere (ruupa loka) consists of sixteen planes. Beings take rebirth into these planes as a result of attaining the jhanas. They have bodies made of fine matter.

7. Kama Rupa: The Yogi can take any form he likes.
8. Parakaya Pravesha: He can enter into another body, can animate a dead body and enter into it by transferring his soul.
9. Iccha-Mrityu: Death at his will.

Then you will reach the next world, called Rupa-loka, where the world may be seen by us, as it is. The beauty of the painting will no more be there; you will see only a canvas and ink spread in a particular pattern.

No thought should interfere with rupa (form) sadhana and nam (name) sadhana. The entire attention is to be concentrated on japa and dhyana; when this is practised unceasingly, then the real steadiness comes.
