Satya (Truthfulness)
Satya means "to speak the truth," yet it is not always desirable to speak the truth on all occasions, for it could harm someone unnecessarily.

Satya -- Truthfulness.   Note that sometimes we may know our words are literally true, but do not convey what we know to be truthful.   This is a child's game.

Satya (truthfulness) urges us to live and speak our truth at all times. Walking the path of truth is a hard one, especially while respecting Patanjali’s first Yama, Ahimsa.

Satya is truthfulness. It is more than just telling the truth. One's actions should be in accordance with one's words and thoughts.

Satya (Truthfulness):
Satya should also be considered in depth. It does not only cover speaking the truth. Proper understanding of the talk and the mind is the truth.

Satya. Truthfulness and honesty (one of the yamas).
Samadhi. State of absolute bliss, superconsciousness. Yogananda called this the "state of God-union." See article on Patanjali's Eightfold Path.

Shakti: lit. "power," "ability," "strength," or "energy." The feminine aspect of divine creative expression, which in yoga is considered to reside at the base of the spine, in muladhara chakra.

The highest law is accordingly conceived as Dharma based on Rita and Satya. Rita and Satya are two terms that occur originally in the Vedas, signifying the eternal cosmic order and the same as manifest in the diversified world.

This is very close to the Sanskrit word Satya meaning truth. It is this moment of crisis, this moment of truth that we have the opportunity to confront our fear and to feel the most alive.
