"Supported Headstand"
Essay by Matthew Sheehan
Salamba Sirsasana or Supported Headstand is said to be the "king" of all asanas. As with all inversions it reverses the flow of prana which can lead to self-realization.

In the Supported Headstand (Salamba Sirsasana)[1], the body is completely inverted, and held upright supported by the forearms, while the crown of the head rests lightly on the floor.
Sirsasana is nicknamed "king" of all the yoga poses.
