Citta - Svarupanukara ivendriyanam pratyaharah.
(with) their own; their respective ( Vishaya ) objects ( Asamprayoge ) not coming into ( Sva ) contact ( Citta ) of the individual mind's ( Svarupa ) own form; ...

"Tada drastuh svarupe avasthanam". While Paramahamsaji was referring to Rishi Patanjali's sutras, Swami Niranjana-nanda was sitting at his guru's feet and I became aware of the unity and understanding between them like a tangible golden aura.

One could scarcely attend a public or private religious function in Banaras that year without hearing, over the obligatory loudspeaker system, the familiar strains of Murli Manohar Svarup's orchestration and Mukesh's mellifluous chanting.

It is Akhanda-Akarasa-Satchidananda-Svarupa, as great masters have not been tired of telling us. Akhanda-Ekarasa is the truth or the character of the Self - undivided in the sense that it cannot be partitioned even by a conceptual spatiality.

This Centre (Kendra) of Power is a gross form of Chit or Consciousness; that is, in itself (Svarupa), it is Consciousness; and by appearance it is a Power which, as the highest form of Force, is a manifestation of it.

ANANDA-SVARUPA: Of the form of bliss.
ANANDAMAYA: Full of great happiness.
ANTAHKARANA: Internal instrument such as mind, intellect, ego and the subconscious mind.
ANANTAM: Infinity.
ANTARATMAN: Inner Self.
ANTARYAMIN: Inner witness.
