Tat (tad): (that, this, this world, b r a h m a, there, then). Term used to indicate the reality of and sacrifice for V i s h n u, God or the Spirit of the Absolute Truth (B.G. 3: 9).

 


Tat = that (that siddhi, the siddhi referred to in previous sutra, the siddhi of omnipotence and omniscience); vairagyat = by non-attachment; api = even; dosa = bondage; bija = seed, ksaye = on the destruction; ...


TAT TVAM ASI - "You are that" - a mantra

TITIKSHA - bravery, courage ...

tat That (the Absolute) .
tathaiva bhajate so he accepts (them) to his love. [cf. Gita 4.11]
tatha karomi so I act.

Tat Tvam Asi declares that oneness of Isvara.
When multiple entities point to a single object, the relationship is established as one of substance and its attributes.
For e.g. in a statement: ...

This philosophical idea is summed up in the mantra Tat Tvam Asi (That Art Thou). The idea that the Atman is eternal, and becomes reborn over and over again is central to the concept of reincarnation that is taught in the Upanishads.

a lthough it is generally accepted tat the Vedas appear at different times of the cosmic creation forte benefit of human society. They are considered to be the revelations of the Divine nature, and its relationship within and without us.

For instance, if a man does evil to you, instantly you want to revenge, to extract tooth for tooth, tit for tat policy, to return anger for anger. Every reaction of evil shows that the mind is not under control. By anger one loses his energy.

Not everyone can relate to "Tat Tvam Asmi", or "Om Tat Sat", but they may relate to Ganesh, Shiva, Vishnu, or other deity. Others may relate to the sunrise, or natural objects.

But it is normally diastolic pressure which decides whether there is hypertension and if so, the extent of it. So, we can say that this diastolic pressure is the one tat tells us how high is the hypertension.
