Vasudeva
A name of God personified: literally \"God of the Real\" - the Real Indweller, the Supreme Self. Also the name of Shri Krishna's father.

vasudevah sarvam iti sa mahatma sudurlabhah very rare is the great soul who knows that Vasudeva, the omnipresent being, is all that is. [Gita 7.19]

Since Vasudeva believed Krishna's life was in danger, Krishna was secretly taken out of the prison cell to be raised by his foster parents, Yasoda [45] and Nanda, in Gokula.
'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya' is a mantra of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. It means literally: "Prostration to Bhagavan Vaasudeva." Surrender to Sri Vasudeva is implied therein. Now, the prostration, salutation, is an external symbol of the internal union.
