Wheel --- Cakrasana
Lie down on your back with knees bent, feet on the floor, lower legs drawn up toward your hips.

The Wheel Pose
In Sanskrit Chakra means the wheel so this is the Wheel Posture. The cakra-asana is also known as the urdhva-dhanurasana. Urdhva means raised, elevated or upright and dhanur means bow.

Chakrasana is a basic pose for beginners and is said to improve the elasticity of the spine and the flexibility of the hip joints. Yoga proponents say that the regular exercise of this asana makes the body resilient, the waist slim.

Now the wheel of time is turning and all we need is Wisdom. The wisdom which has no label of religion. That which will prepare us for a new age. Only consciously aware people will evolve towards success, perfection and total bliss for mankind.

If the spine has developed kyphosis, deep backbends like camel, bow and wheel can be painful and even cause injury and should be avoided or approached with caution.
