The CC filters are placed between the original and light source. By changing the filtration, you can correct the color balance of the duplicate slides. After producing a duplicate slide with proper density, the color balance of the duplicate slide must be evaluated.

Color-correction filters, also called cc filters, consist of cyan, magenta, yellow, red, green, and blue filters. Each of these is available in 10% increments and is used for modifying or correcting the color balance of mismatched or irregular light sources.

The FL-D filter, and the 30M CC filters reduce the green cast that is typical with flourescent lighting. There are many different kinds of flourescent lighting, and even with the same lighting, different digital cameras will produce images with different color casts.
